Two ambulances had an unusual delivery for Orange County senior care facilities Monday morning – bouquets of flowers!
Employees from Laguna Hills-based Doctors Ambulance Service delivered the donated flowers in partnership with the Forget Me Not Foundation, which which coordinates with wedding and event planners to donate flower arrangements they no longer need to senior centers and assisted-living facilities in the county.
The flowers were created by Paradise Delight Florist so it can be enjoyed all over again and seniors can utilize bouquets to brighten their living spaces or enjoy them as part of a group activity. The result is a recreational, joyful and therapeutic activity that enhances the quality of life physical, emotional and mental
dexterity of those it touches.
Doctors Ambulance Services dropped off at the retirement communities including the Lake Forest Nursing Center, the Palm Terrace Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center in Laguna Hills and Heritage Pointe in Mission Viejo.
